About Camp Yakol
Camp Yakol is a family-owned business providing accommodation and group camping opportunities to groups of any size, and can house up to 400 people at any given time. We also provide visitors with the choice of self-catering or fully catered packages or we can create a package to meet your specific needs.
Accommodation
There are four different types of accommodation at Camp Yakol Adventures, The Main camp, The Bush camp and Dormitories, as well as the the Mountain huts.
The Main Camp:
- The camp can accommodate 73 people / students
- The camp consists of 5 different rooms with 2 to 20 beds each
- Ablution facilities with showers and toilets
- There are 2 teacher units with on-suite bathrooms (3 bedroom and 2 bedroom)
- Lapa and braai facilities
- Students to bring their own bedding and cutlery
Dormitories:
- The camp can accommodate 200 people / students
- The camp consists of 8 room with 25 beds each
- Ablution facilities with showers and toilets
- There is a large Farm House to accommodate teachers within its 12 spacious rooms.
- Lapa and braai facilities
- Students to bring their own bedding and cutlery
The Bush camp:
- The camp can accommodate 87 people / students
- The camp consists of 7 rooms with 6 to 16 beds each
- Ablution facilities with showers and toilets
- There are 2 teacher units with on-suite bathrooms (3 bedroom and 2 bedroom)
- Lapa and braai facilities
- Students to bring their own bedding and cutlery
The Mountain huts:
- The 9 huts can accommodate 45 people
- The camp consists of 5 huts with 2 – 8 beds each (On-suite bathrooms)
- Self – catering Kitchen
- Guests to bring their own bedding

- The camp can accommodate 87 people / students and 5 teachers
- The camp consists of 7 rooms with 6 to 16 beds each

- Lapa and braai facilities
- Students to bring their own bedding and cutlery

Camp Yakol provides a wonderful venue for any special occasion, away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
We have different packages for to cater specifically for our guest’s individual needs.
